Have you heard of Walk Score?

Walk Score is becoming a very popular website these days, especially if you are a real estate agent.  Depending on where you live, of course.  The way it works is you put in the address and BAM! It shows you the distance from your house, or the address you put in their browser, to nearby amenities. Walk Score measures how easy it is to live a car-lite lifestyle—not how pretty the area is for walking.

If you are a real estate agent consider using this in the listing content or even place it on your website.  If you live in an area that is centrally located you can find out how far it is to the nearest amenity.

Of course, if you live in my neck of the woods - it does not help since I live outside of a little town called Mineola, Texas - population 5,000 - The nearest amenity to me is easily 5 miles and I won't be walking, I will be driving.
